The Mal

Happy Monday,

Can I say a big thank you to everyone at the Malmaison in Manchester.

I was there yesterday at their Wedding Fayre and it was brilliant. It's the first one I've been to and really enjoyed it. Loads of dresses to look at, beautiful shoes, mother of the bride outfits and room dressing.
There were even things I hadn't thought about. Chocolate fountains, video's of the day - wedding lists, presents for bridesmaids and everything. I got loads of literature and so tonight I'll be going through it all and learning 'how to get married'. Much to Matt's delight who is already bewildered by it all.
If you know of any other wedding fayres, or you've got any tips or hints - get in touch at chelsea@key103.co.uk

Wedding Fayre

Hiya,

Thank god it's Friday - hey!

I've been in bed every night at 7 o'clock since I got back, my body clock is totally messed up.

Went to Cirque Du Soleil last night. It's on at the Trafford Centre - go to http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/ if you fancy tickets. I've got to say it's absolutely brilliant. We loved it and it's not there long so get your tickets fast. It's amazing that people's body's can do that - I'm sure they're not supposed to.

On Sunday I'm off to my first wedding fayre. It's at the Malmaison in Manchester from 11am till 5pm. I've never been to one before and with the wedding 1 year away - I better get my skates on organising eveything - ha!

Tickets are free, and it'll be attended by some of the finest wedding suppliers in the North West.
The Mal's team are experts at creating the dream wedding – it's become a highly sought-after venue for the Big Day. They do the food, the drinks and the accommodation. At this event, they'll give you a 'show-round' of their luxury, boutique hotel with a glass of bubbly for brides. If you're trying to choose a venue, you need to have a look at this place.

Other suppliers who will be at the Manchester Wedding Show include Claire Louise Brides and Perfect Wedding Videos. Experts in every aspect of wedding planning will be ready to discuss your individual requirements and help you plan the perfect day.

Just give the Mal a call if you gancy a free ticket. their number is 0161 278 1000 and I might see you there.

I'm Back....

Hi,
Only me, I'm back!!! The partridge has landed.

I've been in Australia for a couple of weeks. Matt and I went to see my family over there, and we went to Ramsey Street. Look!!!! Very cheesy I know but bloody brilliant.
I've been writing a bit of a travel review while I was away so I'm gonna post it on here in the next week so you can see what I've been getting up to, including being attacked by a wallaby. It looked so cute too!
Ate some wonderful food whilst I was away - in fact too much so I'm back on the calorie controlled diet. In fact I've started Diet Chef. It's basically a company that delivers your meals to you. So you get some menu's and pick 28 breakfasts, 28 lunches, 28 dinners and 28 snacks. You can choose the meals you fancy and then they deliver it all to you. All you have to add is plenty of fruit and veg and you can lose up to a stone in 1 month. The meals are all prepared by a chef and so they are really tasty and you'd be surprised what you can get on there - like pasta and chilli. Great if you haven't got alot of time and bloody hate the gym like me. If you fancy trying it out or having a look go to: www.dietchef.co.uk

POO!

So I've had a hell of a week!

For those of you who listen to the show regularly you'll know my insurance policy with British Gas/Dinorod is simply the best thing I've ever bought - due to the fact my pipes are not what they used to be.

I started noticing a problem with the man hole (no jokes please) on my drive the other day. In that my bath water, which I'd just emptied was actually running out the hole and down the drive complete with steam. After a frantic call to BG and some slight panic I was informed there was a problem with the communal pipe. So all day yesterday I had United Utilities on my drive in their illuminous jackets alerting the world to the fact I had a poop shoot issue.

To cut a long story short, it's being fixed as we speak, and here's the evidence!

Going girlie shopping with Mum today to try and cheer myself up, I'm fed up of pipes, and poo and rubble. Trying to get some holiday clothes for Australia. The thing is there's nothing in the shops, only a load of sale clothes which are all wooly. Did buy some stuff from River Island online yesterday so I'm praying it turns up in time for Saturday.

Mum is looking after the house and Poppy for me while I'm away. Oh and she's also looking after my job. I only found out yesterday but she will be sitting in on the show for me while I'm away next Thursday. I won't be able to listen to if you get chance let me know how she gets on and email me at: chelsea@key103.co.uk also please make sure that Mike and Matt Matt the music man are nice to her.

Pampered but embarassed!!!

Happy Friday!!

So yesterday I treated Mum to a massage - we had a bit of a girly day after a long week and I was really looking forward to it, but she was so embarassing.

We arrived at the Radisson Edwardian on Peter St in Manchester all excited. The Sienna Spa there have got new day spa packages so I treated her to that. We chose a back and shoulder massage, facial and toe nail polish. All hyped up we trotted off to the changing rooms, told to keep knickers and bra on then put the beautiful whilte dressing gown on and slippers.

It was at that point my Mum declared she had no knickers on, well she did, but those big control pants from her knee to her boobs. She looked so funny - and left them on as we thought that was the best option at that point. The girls in there were laughing their heads off.
Anyway after all that we had a great time and left feeling very relaxed.
If you fancy treating your mum or going along with the girls, it's a good hour or so well spent and you get lunch too. Go to:
Have a great weekend,

I Can Fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Monday!!!

Thought I'd put this picture on to show you, Mike, Matt and I went indoor skydiving at the end of last week and this was taken just prior to actually doing it. It was brilliant, bit scary but definately worth it. If you fancy it - the place is just next to the Chill Factor e, near the Trafford Centre.

Weekend was eventful to say the least, I was in Yarm near Newcastle at our friends son's 18th birthday. It was very messy! And basically resulted in me and Matt being thrown out of the hotel at 2am - don't ask!!! Was in bed at 8.30am lastnight as a result. Actually Dancing On Ice sent me to sleep - 2 hours and 20 minutes was just too long - I was bored!

Found a really funny video on youtube by the way - it's hilarious - click this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkIhEGBTMo4

Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who's emailed aout the wedding. Had loads of info on dresses, flowers, cars and everything. If you want to email me it's chelsea@key103.co.uk

Treating Mum to a spa day on Thursday. There's some new package at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester - so we're off there for a massage, facial and pedicure - thank god for the recession, I bloody love spa days.

Catch ya soon, Chels xxx
